The stretch back up to 1m6f should help Story Horse. The flat galloping Southwell AW track ought to suit him and from a good draw, he should soon be in contention. Hopeful.

Forgotten Treasure has slipped into Classified stakes after a last run under an inexperienced rider when she was very slowly away. I think she will act on the track and the ground will be fine. Chances.

Ajp Kingdom ran one good 2nd place here either side of two poor efforts so far this year. If he could recapture the form that brought him three consecutive hurdle wins in the summer of 2023, he would be a major contender.

Almazhar Garde has been running consistently well of late. I've waited a couple of weeks to run him and whether that was the correct thing to do or not I'm unsure, but he's in good form and I'm expecting another solid effort. Hopeful.

We run two ex-flat racers in this wide-open handicap. United Front starts handicapping here and considering his flat mark in the 80s, this isn't particularly demanding if he can get the jumping right in a big field for the track.

Saint Riquier made a striking comeback when 3rd after almost two years off at Sandown. As long as he doesn't "bounce", we have to be optimistic.
