Beach Point goes up to 1m3f but I'm confident he'll handle it, especially on AW. He has the Richard Hughes horse to beat but he's in great shape and shouldn't be far away.

25/09/24 – 1st 5/4 – Tailorman – Ian Williams – Kempton Park
Tailorman has been running consistently all summer and is unexposed on AW - one run in the spring as he was just getting going. This looks his for the taking if he is okay on the surface, which I'm confident he will be.

25/09/24 – 3rd 16/1 – Gallivanted – Tom Clover – Kempton Park
Galivanted disappointed us on debut but he was too green to do himself justice. He is better than that and hopefully, he shapes with more promise today.

23/09/24 – 2nd 7/1 – Peter The Wolf – Warren Greatrex – Wolverhampton
Peter The Wolf made a good step forward from first run to second, finishing a creditable 3rd in a Class 2 race at Ascot. A similar improvement ought to make him a big threat down to Class 5 in this Confined race.

23/09/24 – 1st 4/1 – Jaramillo – Warren Greatrex – Sedgefield
Jaramillo has not been in the best of form in his recent runs on the flat but looks nicely placed here on jumping form earlier in the year. Each-way chances.

23/09/24 – 1st 11/2 – Jet Of Dreams – Warren Greatrex – Sedgefield
Jet Of Dreams looked an improved performer after a wind-op in the spring. He's had a good summer break, returning off 6lb higher. That might not stop him from following up.

22/09/24 – 2nd 10/1 – Carrigeen Kampala – Fergal O’Brien – Plumpton
A winner at Newton Abbot in June by when she had a better than 50% (six in 11) strike-rate Carrigeen Kampala has blotted her copybook with early exits over hurdles (3rd flight) then at the first on chase debut. She reverts to hurdles and Jack takes 3lb off. If she gets the jumping right, she…

22/09/24 – 1st 5/4 – Alien Storm – Charlie Longsdon – Plumpton
It's almost two years since Alien Storm recorded his only win in 14 starts, but his mark has been coming down. He starts chasing here and if he handles the course I expect him to go nicely.

22/09/24 – 1st 9/2 – The Dark Edge – Charlie Longsdon – Plumpton
The Dark Edge returns from his summer break after a final run, his first in handicaps, which suggested he was improving. As long as the ground doesn't get too soft he can take advantage of his light weight.

Tailorman won at Ripon and wasn't disgraced when 3rd around here. The obvious one of our pair and Ryan's 7lb could swing the issue his way.

21/09/24 – 1st 7/2 – Atlantic Gamble – William Knight – Newbury
We have taken our 2yo out of his earlier race here with worries about the ground, but Atlantic Gamble should handle it. He has been in great form winning five of his last six and the upward momentum can continue. Hopeful.

21/09/24 – 1st 10/1 – Not So Sleepy – Hughie Morrison – Newbury
We came here 12 months ago thinking Not So Sleepy had no chance but, enjoying the heavy ground, he won nicely. I was yesterday bemoaning the fact that there was no other option for him but after the 15 mils last night he must be going there with a good chance again. He is 12…

119/09/24 – 1st 10/11 – Saint Riquier – Ian Williams – Chelmsford
Saint Riquier looked uncomfortable at Brighton two days ago when a 2/5 loser. This track will be more straightforward as he takes his last chance to win while 10lb better in than from next week onwards.

Rocking Ends ran no race on tacky ground at Haydock but his form on a quick surface this summer should put him in the mix in this handicap.

19/09/24 – 2nd 16/1 – Inishfallen – Brian Meehan – Yarmouth
Inishfallen is a very good horse as he showed last year but he had a rough time of it through the summer after we gelded him. He would have needed the race at Goodwood and he now seems to have his troubles behind him. It's a good spot and I like his chance.

Forgotten Treasure returns to the scene of her all-the-way win last time when she got loose on the lead. Up only 2lb, she has a decent chance of a repeat but I expect the opposition to be more aware of her in the early stages this time.

Lone Piper ran exceptionally well on his penultimate start but disappointed when we thought he would win at Sandown. We've put the blinkers on to help him concentrate. He has the ability to win a race like this, hopefully it's today.
