Law Of Supply had respectable form when winning an Irish point-to-point and showed promise in both a bumper and over hurdles last season. We were always hoping he would be a better chaser and today we will find out!

15/10/24 – 1st 5/1 – Filanderer – Hughie Morrison – Market Rasen
I have to be worried about the ground for Filanderer - we'll have to assess it when we get there. He's had a break since the spring when he was unlucky on his final start. If he runs he has to hold a very good chance.

15/10/24- 1st 9/4 – Dubawi Time – William Knight – Yarmouth
Dubawi Time has been consistent without being quite able to deliver a telling blow. He might be better suited by this drop in trip over this galloping course and we have to be hopeful of his chance in this company.

15/10/24 – 3rd 40/1 – Washpool – Charlie Longsdon – Market Rasen
We're looking for another step in the right direction for Washpool. He settled a little better last time and if he can improve a bit more in that direction, he might finish 4h or 5th, which I would be happy with.

12/10/24 – 1st 11/2 – Regal Envoy – William Knight – Chelmsford
Regal Envoy has been consistent this summer. He has a decent draw - crucial at Chelmsford - and Brandon is riding well. Good place claims.

12/10/24 – 2nd 20/1 – Curtiz – Hughie Morrison – Chelmsford
Curtiz runs off a mark that is within his capabilities but he has been off the track for five months. He may well need it tonight.

12/10/24 – 3rd 33/1 – Aqwaam – Ian Williams – Newmarket
Three runners in this race of great repute but to my mind one at the mercy of the Irish who have eight of the top ten. They have targeted it with mostly horses impossible to gauge for the past few years. Aqwaam has been running okay this year but it's hard to think he can…

11/10/24 – 1st 7/2 – Destroytheevidence – Kim Bailey – Chepstow
Destroytheevidence had a great campaign over hurdles last season and this is his first start over fences. It's a tough contest and this will be a huge learning curve for him. We want a good clear round with plenty to build on. Place chances. He's not the biggest but is a very likeable horse.

11/10/24 – 1st 11/2 – Sun God – Hughie Morrison – Newmarket
I think Sun God is well handicapped, but he could run a very good race and still finish 5th. He was narrowly beaten here early in the sseason and it would be nice if he could get involved in another valuable contest.

10/10/24 – 2nd 25/1 – Fiftyshadesaresdev – Micky Hammond – Southwell
Fiftyshadesaresdev put in an encouraging run on the first of two trips to Newcastle, but didn't fare so well on a quick return. Capable of running into the money off this mark, but I'd like to see some of our horses run a bit better.

10/10/24 – 1st 11/10 – Harrys Hope – Ben Pauling – Exeter
Harrys Hope won with plenty to spare first time over fences at Southwell. Even with the 7lb penalty he is 4lb well in. Should win again.

10/10/24 – 1st 2/1 – Think Of A Name – William Knight – Bath
Think Of A Name drops back to 5f, which on soft ground should be in his favour. Could be hard to beat.

09/10/24 – 1st 15/8 – Court In A Storm – Kim Bailey – Ludlow
Court In A Storm ran well in his only bumper to finish second at Huntingdon. He must have a great chance here. Well named for the weather we're having!

09/10/24 – 1st 6/1 – Brendas Asking – Kim Bailey – Ludlow
Brendas Asking is more than capable of winning this. While her rider does not have a great deal of experience, I'm hopeful.

08/10/24 – 2nd 18/1 – Just Typical – Ian Williams – Southwell
Just Typical has yet to win but the penny is belatedly dropping. At the bottom of a modest field, this could be her chance.

08/10/24 – 1st 7/1 – El Rio – Kim Bailey – Huntingdon
El Rio is capable but he has had his problems with an irregular heartbeat. A summer break seems to have done him the world of good and we are hoping to turn his form around, something we will not know until he runs. Hoping for a good effort to be able to build on.

08/10/24 – 1st 5/4 – Dalmally – Hughie Morrison – Brighton
I thought Dalmally would win last time, but he was outstayed by two Dylan Cunha horses, the 2nd of which runs here. That horse disappointed the next time and if Dalmally is on his game he should go very close.

07/10/24 – 1st 100/30 – Hard As Nails – Fergal O’Brien – Stratford upon Avon
Hard As Nails is true to her name, consistent and genuine. She will appreciate today's ground and holds an each-way chance.

07/10/24 – 1st 6/4 – Simiyann – Ian Williams – Wolverhampton
Simiyaan finally looked as though he was getting his act together with a much-improved run at Chelmsford. A repetition of that would probably be good enough.

06/10/24 – 1st 16/5 – Rickety Gate – Nicky Richards – Kelso
We tried Rickety Gate over 3m2f at Perth last time but he didn't stay so he's back at around his preferred trip over which he is a CD winner. That was a while ago, but he seems well and is a decent price. Each-way chances.
