Beylerbeyi ran promisingly first time for the stable at Wolverhampton last month. Jack has already ridden a winner for us and against fellow apprentices is excellent value for the 7lb. Hopeful.

Keep Running ran a great race last time and has been in excellent form at home since. A similar performance should see him get his head in front today.

Law Supreme is going the right way - upward in terms of performance and down nicely where his mark is concerned. He is probably over-priced in view of that twin positive, but he may still need a run or two before hitting the winner's circle.

Our other runner Simiyann took the eye in an amateur riders'  race on UK debut over barely half today's distance. His French form doesn't promise he'll stay but the pedigree might. Maybe, maybe not, but interesting.

Beauzon's form figures since joining us are unimpressive, but he has slipped into a modest 0-55 on a track where he was a CD winner for his previous stable. Could be dangerous.

El Hibri had a busy spell after joining the stable in the autumn and as well as winning first time, ran a couple of other solid races. He's back from a short break, but is not helped by his wide draw.

We run two in this and if they were competing at home, Carrigeen Castle would be by some way the better. He's been a shade disappointing on the track for us so far and even though a 3m Irish point winner, we might need to drop him back to 2m. This is a winnable race…

Findthetime won nicely at Wetherby and then was desperately unlucky not to follow up at Doncaster when he was very badly hampered at a crucial stage. He has a big chance of making amends.

Milajess has shown very little since coming from Ireland and it's hard to see how she has earned this rating. I reckon she'll be better on the spring ground in a little while.

Awaythelad has much more experience than many of these. Placed in several handicaps, when it comes down to the latter stages that race-toughness will be a big asset. Good each-way chance.

President Scottie ran a grand race last time over 2m, staying on nicely at the finish. He's still rather green and raw but he should benefit from the longer trip and I expect him to run another good race. Each-way chances.

Duisker returns after a break in a 0-50 Classified. I would be much happier with a better draw than in 9, as she could have dropped in on the rail. She will find one thing different - her former regular partner, 7lb stable claimer Sophie Read has gone to Australia, so she gets professional handling…

I notice that Lincoln Burrows has been backed down to favouritism to such an extent that in a big field, 11/4 looks rather skinny. I suppose it's a reaction to the recent good form of the team, but I was making him an each-way chance really, based on his liking the ground and being close…

Dropping back to 1m4f didn't suit Zealandia at Southwell the other day when Oneforthegutter won for us. The quick turn-around is always a worry but while he didn't seem to stay 2m2f at Chester last year, he certainly gets 1m6f and is a nice back-up to Enemy.

Shakem Up'Arry goes in a very competitive race but he ran very well in the Coral Gold Cup last time. I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll get on over this shorter trip and on the testing ground.

As Belle Na Bann showed at Newcastle last time, she enjoys heavy ground. She also has form around here, so with only 3lb added for the Newcastle win, we have to be hopeful off bottom-weight and with Emma claiming 3lb.

Finn Russell has been running well, winning twice and then finishing just behind the leaders the last twice in a busy spell. He is prone to pulling hard and I hope that he isn't too difficult a ride for his inexperienced partner in the hands and heels race.
