Ask Dillon has had a few niggles hence his absence since early in the year. He has been working well and loves this track so should be a solid each-way prospect.
No No Juliet won well at Southwell last time over today's trip and ground, and is a thorough stayer who usually jumps well. Her laid-back style of racing helps her save energy for the business end and she can complete the hat-trick.
Dontdelay will stay every yard on the testing ground and goes well for today’s rider. We feel he has a great chance after his winning effort in a four-mile chase at Hexham.
Dominateur won over course and distance last time but he did give us a couple of scares along the way, especially when he and Gav had a difference of opinion at the last fence. He's a horse that can seem to be going nowhere and then after one good jump he can take off and…
Java Point ran well enough at Southwell in finishing fourth but nothing has come out of the race to test the form. He is not an ideal bumper horse but he stays and seems to like soft ground. This does not look the strongest of races so place chances.
Jamacho didn't run too badly on his first run on the Flat after disappointing hurdling for the most part recently. He should have no problems with the longer trip and could run into a place.
Black Abbey was bought recently out of France to go juvenile hurdling. He has winning form with cut in the ground over 1m4f on the flat. He is a tough little horse that likes to make the running and has taken well to hurdling at home.
Roxyfet is going for a hat-trick of wins in this particular Boxing Day race, over a track where he always performs well. He is in very good form at home and will be thereabouts again I'm sure.
Raddle And Hum improved a great deal on earlier form last time at Kelso and seems to be on a competitive mark. We expect her to go well as track, trip and ground will all suit. Big each-way chance.
Simply The Betts has come out of his back-to-back wins in excellent form. He is taking a step up in class and trip here, but hopefully he can improve again off his current mark. We are looking forward to running him.
Third Wind is in really good form following his comeback run, first time over fences, the other day. Whether he's up to his present mark, returning to hurdles, is an unknown, but we'll find out today!
Young Bull has come out of his latest win in excellent form and so we will take a view once we have had a look at the opposition. Hopefully he can take another step forwards in handicap company and we are looking forward to seeing him running again.
Supamouse ran very well on debut at Southwell when just touched off. I'm not sure he's improved too much in the interim but the form is pretty decent and I hope he can win.
Amberose is a consistent mare and she won well at Carlisle last time. She shows her best form there admittedly but can also run well elsewhere and she has an obvious each-way chance today.
Hopefully it goes ahead after the 11.30 inspection but to stage a two-day fixture at this time of year, with the big day depending on how the track is after the first, has to be tempting fate. After his win here last month, Not So Sleepy has been aimed at this valuable prize and he…
This lovely horse has done little wrong in his two bumpers, finishing second first time and then a good winner. His form is rock solid but I do worry about today's ground. He is not the biggest and if he handles it he will run well and could be placed or better. Unknown territory today…
Cavok is on a nice mark having lost her way a bit at the end of her last campaign. She won't mind the ground as it was very heavy when she won her Irish point. It's unfortunate that she has a big weight but we're taking 7lb off and are hopeful she'll run a good…
Double Up is coming back from a break after a disappointing spring campaign. He is on a downward spiral as far as his rating goes and if he could show anything like his best form, he would have an obvious chance.
