We run two here including stable newcomer Giselle's Defence. His better form on the flat has generally been at Dondalk, whereas his turf mark is 6lb lower. Might have been let in reasonably. We'll find out.

20/04/24 – 3rd 17/2 – Le Grand Vert – Micky Hammond – Bangor
Le Grand Vert has been running okay but probably needed an extra help and hopefully, the blinkers will address that. Shouldn't be far away

19/04/24 – 1st 9/2 – Hidalgo Des Bordes – Warren Greatrex – Exeter
Hidalgo Des Bordes showed promise in his hurdle runs, but as a former Irish pointer, he should be better at chasing. He runs off his hurdles mark in this debut over fences and we're hopeful of a much improved performance today.

19/04/24 – 1st 11/4 – Plaisir Des Flos – Fergal O’Brien – Ayr
Plaisir Des Flos has been in great form at home since his two nice wins. He should go very close again.

19/04/24 – 2nd 20/1 – Herakles Westwood – Warren Greatrex – Ayr
Herakles Westwood had a midwinter hat-trick and while he has continued to run well, the rise in his handicap mark has taken effect. Still in decent form, he can fight for a place at long odds, but this is ultra-competitive.

18/04/24 – 3rd 10/1 – Mokaatil – Ian Williams – Chelmsford
Mokaatil keeps soldiering on and if he could repeat his 6f run two outings back he would be in here with a chance.

18/04/24 – 3rd 20/1 – Sacchoandvanzetti – Fergal O’Brien – Chelmsford
Sacchoandvanzetti hadn't run for a long while on the flat when finishing unplaced at Wolverhampton and 1m was inadequate. Her inexperienced rider and he should be more attuned this time and over further he could make more of an impact.

17/04/24 – 1st 9/1 – Manothepeople – Fergal O’Brien – Cheltenham
Manothepeople is in great form and the ground has finally come right for him. He should run well with dual race winner Captain Cattistock also coming into the argument for us.

17/04/24 – 1st 11/1 – Tintintin – Fergal O’Brien – Cheltenham
Tintintin seems happier on flat tracks, so he's a fairly risky proposition around here. He is in great form though and if he manages to get up the hill, he will go close.

17/04/24 – 1st 11/1 – Jayarebe – Brian Meehan – Newmarket
Jayarebe is a nice horse with each-way chances. Last autumn he was 7th behind Rosallion in the Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp and that puts him right there.

16/04/24 – 1st 6/5 – As Legends Have It – Ben Pauling – Ffos Las
As Legends Have It ran very well on stable debut at Stratford last month. He ran twice, finishing 3rd each time, in Irish points so hopefully, should have the stamina for two miles in deep ground around Ffos Las but this race is no formality.

15/04/24 – 3rd 10/1 – Premiere Ligne – Hughie Morrison – Windsor
I hope the rain stays away for Premier Ligne, but that seems unlikely as it's pouring down as we speak and also apparently at Newmarket, Windsor being somewhere in between! Premier Ligne has had a wind-op so we'll be finding our way with him.

15/04/24 – 3rd 18/1 – Singapore Trip – Micky Hammond – Kelso
I've had Singapore Trip in a couple of races with Hughsie booked lately and the meetings have been called off. He'll get his ride today and I think Singapore Trip has a great chance. He's well handicapped and the ground will be fine.

13/04/24 – 2nd 13/2 – Tripoli Flyer – Fergal O’Brien – Aintree
We run two very nice horses in this bumper. Tripoli Flyer is a gorgeous horse who has a lot of ability but dislikes bad ground so we hope it continues to dry out. If it does he could go very well.

13/04/24 – 3rd 50/1 – Bugise Seagull – Charlie Longsdon – Aintree
Bugise Seagull has done nothing wrong. We compromised his chance when making the running in the Sidney Banks which he didn't enjoy. This is a very strong race and we don't know if he's good enough but in the long term, we know we have a lovely horse.

11/04/24 – 2nd 7/2 – Whenthedealinsdone – Roger Teal – Southwell
Whenthedealinsdone ran a lovely race at Lingfield last time having been in a poor run of form for some time. He's continued in good fettle at home since then and if he can adapt to the Tapeta surface, he would have to hold a big chance.

11/04/24 – 1st 13/2 – Diva Luna – Ben Pauling – Aintree
Diva Luna is in good form and has done nothing wrong on the track so far. We'll have to see where we are with these, but fingers crossed she can run a nice race.

11/04/24 – 1st 100/30 – Secret Squirrel – Hughie Morrison – Taunton
I really do think Secret Squirrel is a good horse and one day he'll start to prove it, but whether he's mature enough yet is the question. On the debut side today, the horses haven't been running well, but hopefully, he will.

09/04/24 – 1st 4/1 – Shillanavogy – Warren Greatrex – Hereford
Shillanavogy has had a wind-op since running in his first handicap at Wetherby. He made much of the running that day but tired in the closing stages. Hoping for a better showing today.

09/04/24 – 1st 5/1 – Village Master – Warren Greatrex – Hereford
Village Master has been beaten a long way in each of his three novice hurdles but is handicapped accordingly. He had fair Irish point form and now, in a grade that should suit, he can make more of an impact this time.
