The straight mile should suit Sir Busker, although not many were coming from the back there yesterday. Saying that, there should be plenty of pace to aim at, though to my eye he looks a bit on the heavy side. Will probably improve a bit for the run.

Commodore Barry so deserves a victory. He has run well all season but in this three-horse race, they are evenly-matched on ratings. We are trying headgear for the first time and if that helps he should nearly win this.

The Very Thing is a promising type, showing enough at home, but we are still learning about him.The track should suit, but we are a little unsure whether present going conditions will be in his favour today.

Glencassley is a son of Yeats from a good jumping family. He has run well in both his bumpers, finishing fifth in the well-contested Listed race at Newbury last month. We have to think he goes there with a favourite's chance.

Ivilnoble has some nice form to recommend him, but he disappointed last time and again, the message is be careful.

He has been in good form at home and frustratingly has missed two opportunities due to abandoned meetings. This step up in trip should suit him well.

Proper Ticket ran well in all her novices in good company. This longer trip will suit but I'm not sure she wants heavy ground. However, she is in such good form that we think she will handle it.

Ex S'Elance will find the track, ground and trip no problem. The main concern is which side of the bed he gets out of!

Mister Watson is a lovely horse and we think he'll handle the ground. This looks a good enough race for a Monday at Hereford but we expect him to run well.

My Old Gold is a grand mare but she was slightly disappointing last time. She's in form at home though and I hope she'll run a good race.

High Noon is back in trip today which will suit him fine. Also the ground will be okay and Emma gets on with him very well. There have been no negatives at home so we go into the race with a great chance.

Hurricane Harvey is made for this race. He is in top form and will go close.

Whatsupwithyou won well at Ascot but bled last time at Warwick. The plan is to drop him in to settle and hopefully come with a finishing run up the straight.

Broughtons Rhythm is a star. He’s been consistent all career but as he’s one-paced he always finds one or two too good for him. He’s a very good jumper and a lovely honest horse to deal with.

Medallo Del Oro was a mid-80's Flat racer and he has taken immediately to jumping. We are hopeful of a decent performance on his debut.

We know we have a very nice horse in Third Wind, who has only ever been beaten once over hurdles. He is handicapped up to his form, so we have to hope he will have improvement in him as he faces a host of possibly well-handicapped rivals. He may be a gallop short but sometimes…

Simply The Betts is in very good nick at home and won nicely on the track last time. We're hoping he can turn up at the track in the same form and he's going there with a lot of confidence behind him.
