Irv has been working well at home and seems to have benefited from a wind-op. I am hoping the ground will not get too soft for him and he does go well fresh. He should be competitive and has an each-way chance.

Libretti came to us from John Gosden and made a pleasing stable debut at Kempton in a decent maiden race. She has a fair rating on her form and could go close.

I expected Coquette to be green first time out at Goodwood. In some ways she showed that inexperience, but she finished very well and would surely have won in a few more strides. I'm not certain Windsor's her track, but there's a long straight which will help her. Very hopeful.

Rooster ran well in a hot race on debut at Newmarket and meets the horse who finished a neck ahead of him again. The betting market seems to expect that horse to have made more improvement, but Rooster got unbalanced and then slightly hampered late on. Looks sure to be in the shake-up.
