Late Date is another that enjoys it round here where he is a course and distance winner. He ran well at Kelso on his seasonal debut, has come on for the run and is likely to be thereabouts.

Excalibur ran really well when third at Kelso and he is finally beginning to find his form at the level. He goes well for today’s rider and has each way chances in an open race.

I've been trying to find a 0-75 for Commit No Nuisance, but there just aren't the races. He goes all right though and I think he's quite well handicapped so off his light weight I'd have to be hopeful each-way.

Good And Hardy is a solid type who loves soft ground. Hopefully it will be suitable enough today. In his correct ground I think he is well handicapped and should go close.

Sea Sovereign runs off his lowest-ever mark but I would have been happier if he had a better draw. He has to win someday and we're taking 7lb off which should help to a degree.

Stick With Bill ran two excellent races in Ffos Las bumpers last season and we are looking forward to his debut over hurdles. It's competitive for a maiden hurdle, but we're hopeful he'll be a contender.

Elmetto has been going quite nicely at home and probably knows more than many of our newcomers. She has a good pedigree and nice draw, so decent each-way prospects.

Drewmain Legend will have his first run back since winning a handicap chase here early in April. He's reverting to hurdles and a shorter trip as the ground will be testing today. He may just need it but we're hoping for a nice run and he'll be returning to fences before long.

Silver Hallmark is one of our most exciting novices. It is a shame to bump into McFabulous again but we weren't too far behind him in a bumper and will give him a good run for his money today. Strong each-way chance at least.

Bumper and dual hurdle winner Simply The Betts makes his chase debut in this novice handicap off a high weight, based on hurdles form.  We think this will be his game and we are looking forward to seeing him run.

Star of Athena improved for going up in trip last time at Brighton when finishing second. She's moving up another two furlongs now but after 11 weeks off the track it is likely she'll progress again for the run.

We're just getting back from Australia - don't ask! - and haven't seen Oasis Song for more than a week. I know Charlie thinks there is a race in her and hopefully it will be tonight. We need cheering up after Marmelo!

Those Tiger Feet won a bumper at Hereford last season on soft ground. His runs over hurdles weren't great but I am not sure he was quite right. He had a good summer out and is a stronger horse now. He holds obvious place chances and could do even better if he has improved for…

Lilkian was stopped dead halfway through his latest race at Kempton, otherwise he must have gone close. I'm not worried about the drop to five furlongs but until they run on Fibresand you cannot be dogmatic about how they'll handle it. If he does I think he'll win.

Although Catapult has not raced over the minimum for some time he has good all-round pace. He's yet to win around here but generally finishes in the money and if they go quick, I can envisage him picking them up in the closing stages. Good each-way chance.

Sarim is returning to action after a long absence and this will be his first run for us. He has shown promise and we hope to learn more about him tonight before sending him hurdling.  

This lovely home-bred mare has won two bumpers but had a really disappointing season last time. Surely she is better than that. Anyway we shall see today. If back on song she should go close.

The better ground at Huntingdon should suit Robyndzone today. He will be fitter for having that first run back under his belt and should go close.

Chapel Stile was very progressive the season before last over hurdles but we had to stop with him owing to a slight leg problem. His schooling has been good and all seems well, so all we need now will be a good trip around.
