It's a first run for us for Beat The Edge, He had plenty of decent form for previous connections to suggest his lower chase mark should be manageable. Hoping for a good start.

Keep Running did well last season but ran disappointingly on his seasonal return last month. We hope he can do much better today.

25/11/24 – 1st 11/4 – Faerie Cutlass – Kim Bailey – Ludlow
This will be all about whether Faerie Cutlass can handle the rain-softened ground. She would every chance if she did.

23/11/24 – 1st 13/8 – Lilting Verse – Fergal O’Brien – Huntingdon
Lilting Verse has been crying out for three miles. Off the back of a solid chasing start over shorter, she should go very close. We are hopeful she can win this.

23/11/24 – 1st 7/2 – Trelawne – Kim Bailey – Haydock
We have been looking forward for ages to this run from Trelawne. He needs to start off in a small field to gain confidence after his fall at Cheltenham and this fits the bill. The trip is probably on the short side but he should run well, although Iroko seems thrown in at the weights.

22/11/24 – 1st 11/4 – Ryan’s Rocket – Fergal O’Brien – Chepstow
Ryan's Rocket won at Kempton in May but found the Grade 2 opposition here on comeback a bit rich at this stage of his development. This easier company should be more to his liking.

22/11/24 – 1st 14/1 – Molto Bene – Charlie Longsdon – Chepstow
Molto Bene cannot have the ground too soft and I hope by the time of her race it will have become chewed up. She was in good form before her break and I think she's well handicapped.

22/11/24 – 1sr 5/2 – Law Of Supply – Kim Bailey – Ascot
Law Of Supply won well at Worcester but the handicapper has taken no chances by throwing 11lb at him. He is an honest horse who will be thereabouts. Should run well.

Typical Woman won a couple in the summer but is higher in the handicap now and could do with a little help from the official.

20/11/24 – 1st 11/2 – Swindon Village – Charlie Longsdon – Ffos Las
Swindon Village was a good 2nd on his only start so far over the Punchestown point-to-point course in April. He's a very nice young horse and I think he'll like the ground. I'm hoping he will go well.

20/11/24 – 1st 9/4 – Jig’s Forge – Ben Pauling – Ffos Las
Jig's Forge had three runs in Irish points for Ross O'Sullivan, winning easily on his final start. He brings plenty of experience to his first run for the stable and I'm hopeful he can make an immediate impact at this level.

Whenthedealinsdone, believe it or not, has a nice draw, halleluya! He drops back from 7f to 6f with a nice each-way chance.

19/11/24 – 3rd 10/1 – Sound And Fury – Ben Pauling – Carlisle
Sound And Fury returns after a year off. He won his handicap hurdle over 2m4f off 113 and starts chasing only 4lb higher. He jumps well and hopefully, will enjoy this testing three-mile trip.

18/11/24 – 1st 17/2 – Beauzon – Ian Williams – Wolverhampton
Beauzon won and was then 3rd in two races over the CD over the past week. He should have every chance running off 5lb less than last time.

18/11/24 -1st 8/1 – Sign Again – Charlie Longsdon – Plumpton
Sign Again won his point but was very green first time out in his bumper. It's a small field and he must have a lead. If he does he could run okay.

17/11/24 – 1st 9/5 – Quantock Hills – Warren Greatrex – Fontwell Park
Quantock Hills ran very well on UK debut, when although he was fizzy and gassy, he finished a good second at Wetherby. Hopefully, the first-time hood will help him relax this time and although he has a 7lb penalty for his win in France, he should take all the beating with experience on his side.

17/11/24 – 1st 100/30 – Abuffalosoldier – Warren Greatrex – Cheltenham
Abuffalosoldier surprised me with how well he went first time back, running an extremely good 2nd at Exeter. He has run okay here in the past, albeit over hurdles, but he has a nice weight and will be ridden prominently. Great chance over a trip he should love.

John Barbiour joined us after running a promising 3rd on bumper debut for previous connections. He shapes nicely and we're looking for a decent first run.

Ajp Kingdom ran a good 2nd behind King Turgeon at Chepstow and that horse followed up in the Grand Sefton at Aintree a week ago. He stands out as the likeliest winner.
