Naughty Niall has beaten only one rival in four runs back since a summer break. He needs to wake his ideas up.

Hippocratic Oath missed the break last week at Kempton but ran on strongly for 2nd behind a useful Godolphin juvenile. He's 2lb well in as his new mark doesn't come into play until tomorrow. Big chance.

De Kingpin was 2nd in both his bumpers and was 3rd and then 5th in his two hurdle runs this year. I fear that form is not good enough to win a novice at Newbury. Place chances.

Meetmebythesea did well to make a winning debut around here and should improve. However, he could well  have his work cut out to deal with The Kemble Brewery.

Herakles Westwood ran very well at Taunton first time over fences and back from a break. He has come out of that race well and we're hopeful he can go one better today.

Margaret's Legacy won just short of a year ago at Market Rasen for his previous stable and was 2nd soon after. He returns after 11 months off in a first-time hood. Hoping for a bright start.

I've a slight worry about the ground for Alien Storm and also I'm not sure there's much pace on. Maybe we'll have to change tactics and ride him closer to the front. He likes the track though so hopeful.

The Kalooki Kid is a grand horse. He ran well when 2nd in his first chase at Ayr. He's in good order and we hope he can continue the good work, although it is a competitive novice handicap chase.

She's A Rocca won narrowly at Southwell in October of last year but has been out of form this season. We'll see how we get on, but I think she may be looking for a boyfriend!

Quantock Hills was a good winner last time out and the form of his first run for us has worked out well. He deserves to take his chance here although rain would be appreciated.

We've not had Ruby Island for long. Mark did well with her but then she had a layoff before her only run last season and another since then. We're training her differently and will get a feel for what she can do today, but she is a mare with ability.

Faerie Cutlass won well last time at Ludlow and it would be great if she could repeat. Every chance but this is tougher.

We always thought Sauce Of Life would be a smart horse but injuries have held him back. He has his ground today so hopefully, he can come home safe and build on the run from here. Each-way chance today.

Hippocratic Oath won October nurseries at Wolverhampton and Southwell suggesting he was an improving young horse. The 2nd of the wins was boosted yesterday by the victory of Patrol back at Southwell so even though he's 7lb higher tonight, he should make a bold attempt at the hat-trick.

Bonne Vitesse had a run on the flat recently and she will enjoy the ground and the track today. Small each-way chance.

Young Getaway is a grand young horse and I think he's going to have a lovely career. He made a good start to hurdling when 3rd at Ayr and I expect him to be in the mix today.

Night Duty won a point-to-point. He has been well beaten in both staying novice hurdle runs this autumn but we feel there is more to come, although his initial mark looks tough enough on what he's shown so far.
