Considering he lost his legs when jumping an early flight on hurdles debut at Taunton, Jersey Wonder ran creditably staying on well after being allowed to recover by Gavin Sheahan. He's run in two jumpers' bumpers since then, running well in the first then clearly taking little interest in the latest. He's a character and it depends on his mood. He could run well but if he decides it's not his day there's little his rider can do about it. Jonathan Burke has that job today.
