It was a bit of a surprise to us when Lleyton, a horse we hadn't had for very long, won first time out around here at 50-1. Stamina won him the day after they went a strong pace over a mile and threequarters and the race rather fell in his lap. He's been working nicely coming into this race and if they go a good gallop again he'll be finishing strongly once more over this even longer trip.
