I couldn't be happier with Checkandchallenge. He took a while to get over the 2,000 Guineas where he got a few bumps and bruises after getting his run stopped when Native Trail closed him down. I'm glad I gave him an extra couple of weeks by missing Ascot and thought this race would be on better ground possibly than waiting for the Listed at Newmarket. Very hopeful.
