I put Global Citizen in this race on Monday when it looked a relatively weak entry. He won it three years ago beating the late-lamented Silver Streak three lengths. I liked him for a place at Ascot last time but he went off far too fast in front and paid the penalty. He had a wind-op imediately after and we will ride him with more restraint today. Interesting.
