Rocking Ends is pretty well handicapped on the best of his form and he goes there in good shape. He hasn't been with us long but he seems straightforward and should go well.

18/05/24 – 1st 5/2 – Beach Point – William Knight – Doncaster
Beach Point ran a very good 2nd at Bath last time. It was soft there that day but quicker ground should not bother him and he can go very close. Big chance.

Whathappensinvegas spent time in Dubai but is now back with us, up in trip from his stable comeback run. Each-way shout.

18/05/24 – 3rd 20/1 – Invincible Song – Brian Meehan – Newmarket
Invincible Song is a very nice filly making her debut. I think she can go close.

17/05/24 1st 80/1 – Monkey Island – Brian Meehan – Newbury
Monkey Island has his issues but he is going very well in his work. The form of his first race at Ascot of two last year has worked out well - he wasn't far behind Ten Bob Tony - and I think he's worth an each-way bet.

15/05/24 – 2nd 11/1 – Piecederesistance – Micky Hammond – York
Piecederesistance goes well fresh and has a lovely inside draw. He's in much better form this time around than when 6th in this race a year ago and I'm very optimistic of a big run.

15/05/24 – 1st 9/2 – Dancing In Paris – Ian Williams – York
Dancing In Paris ran a blinder over 1m2f at Lingfield on Saturday, just failing to get up. This 1m4f might stretch him, but if he does get home, he has to be a contender.

11/05/24 – 1st 7/1 – Charencey – Ian Williams – Leicester
Another from Godolphin, Charencey won at Newcastle last November but has hindered himself on recent outings with slow starts, although he's often had difficult draws on that track. It will be interesting to see where he fits in handicaps on the turf.

11/05/24 – 1st 7/2 – Over Spiced – Tom Clover – Leicester
Over Spiced was unlucky not to win on debut at Brighton. This is a big field but she has some experience behind her and should give a good account again.

11/05/24 – 1st 7/4 – Haymaker – Hughie Morrison – Nottingham
Haymaker should have won at Brighton, but lost an amazing amount of ground at the start, before flying up to the field. He was just outstayed there, but with a normal break should win.

10/05/24 – 3rs 5/1 – Law Of The Sea – Ian Williams – Chester
Law Of The Sea was an unlucky 4th under Franny Norton - Mr Chester - in the Cup last year and now gets in the Plate. We tried him afterwards in all the valuable staying handicaps but to no avail. Now, with Franny back for the first time and his own initial run here since…

10/05/24 – 2nd 18/1 – Penpal – Micky Hammond – Sedgefield
Penpal is a horse that bleeds in his races. He won two starts back, having bled the time before and that was the problem again last time. It's always a risk, but touch wood if he's fine tonight, he will surely go close.

10/05/24 – 1st 9/2 – Summergrounds – Nicky Richards – Market Rasen
Two good ground horses are at Market Rasen today and both should run well. I think Summergrounds has landed on the easier of the two races and he knows his way around here. He's been off for the winter but has done plenty of work and I'm hoping for a big run.

Village Master comes here on the back of two victories and seems to be improving with his races. Hopefully, he can add to his tally and complete the hat-trick.

Tabletalk ran well on debut in December and the form of that race has worked out well. He should give a good account.

Witness Stand prefers softer ground but he's a course and distance winner. He probably needs some help from the handicapper.

08/05/24 – 1st 13/2 – No Regrets – Nicky Richards – Kelso
No Regrets ran very consistently all last season until running his one bad race at Musselburgh. We've given him a break and are switching from cheek-pieces first time to a visor. Each-way chances.

07/05/24 – 1st 4/1 – Jet Of Dreams – Warren Greatrex – Hereford
Jet Of Dreams won a point and was gradually improving with racing before a six-month winter break. He returned at Market Rasen where his performance attracted the attention of the stewards after he stayed on into a remote 2nd late on. That should have blown the cobwebs out.

07/05/24 – 1st 5/1 – Magical Escape – Kim Bailey – Ffos Las
Magical Escape won well last time but this is a tougher race, especially as he carries a 7lb penalty. He is well and deserves to go close. A big horse who will be better over fences after his summer break
