Night On Earth has shown glimmers of his old very decent sprinting form the last twice. He has dropped a fair way in the weights and if he can last the sixth furlong - all his wins so far have been at 5f - he would have a decent chance.

Evenwood Sovereign has been expensive to follow so far this season. If he could get everything right as in avoiding trouble on the way round and jumping as we know he can at home, he could be a contender.

Fiercely Proud made a winning debut for the stable in the New Year's Day Listed bumper at Cheltenham and then we asked plenty of him in the big bumpers at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. This is his hurdles debut and while it looks competitive for Hereford we have to be hopeful he can make…

Dunskay was bought at the Derby sale last year. There is plenty of winning jumping talent in his pedigree and we're looking forward to seeing his debut run.

Crimson Ruby ran very well for a long way on seasonal debut and will have come on for the run. The trip might be sharp enough for her, but the heavy ground will play to her strengths.

James Jet is a big frame of a horse who has really strengthened up over the summer. This will be the first run of the campaign and since a wind-op, and we are looking forward to having plenty of fun with him this season.  

Our second runner Findthetime misbehaved badly before the start last time, so his jockey's main job is to get him there behaving himself. We hope he can jump off and have a nice run round and come home safe and sound.

Aqwaam came back to form with a very easy win at Chelmsford. Up 5lb for that, he must have a decent chance of a follow-up.

Mary ran well in all her three bumper runs last season. The favourite will be tough to beat but we're hopeful Mary will be one of the closest to her at the finish. Then again, if everything didn't go to plan, who knows?

State Legend tops the weights here, but compared with his flat race rating, he could be nicely treated. He won on the level in the summer and while he has had limited exposure to jumps so far, he could well be an each-way candidate with Alice taking 3lb off in this conditionals' race.

Theyseekhimthere is a huge frame of a horse that will be seen to best effect when chasing. He learnt a lot from his bumper run last year and is likely to acquire plenty more knowledge today too.

This is a strong race but Mulberry Hill made a promising start to the season after her break when 3rd of 15 at Carlisle and can be in at the business end today. Each-way chance.

Kyle Of Lochalsh is a bit soft. If they go a good gallop and he gets a nice run through he could be a factor, but really he's one for a gelding operation next year.

Horaces Pearl won on debut here in his bumper in April and this is a fact-finding mission to see if he can win under a penalty. The form of that race has worked out well so he should merit each-way support.

Broomfield Present was a winning pointer who had a great first season with us in 2022/3. There are plenty of runners and the ground needs to be very soft for him to be at his best. Must have a great chance if conditions are suitable.

Ex-Irish You Say Its Over ran one creditable race in 2nd for us last season but otherwise, he has shown very little. Like Ring Fenced at Newcastle, he needs to pull his socks up!

Serious Ego has been around the clock a couple of times and knows all about racing. One thing he has in his armoury is that he loves heavy ground so it wouldn't be a surprise if he sprung a surprise, if you see what I mean!

Regal Envoy went too fast last time, but he has been a great servant for his owners. I think reverting to the minimum will suit him and I would not be shocked if he added to his two previous wins in this latter part of the season.

I really like this filly and she ran a very promising race when 2nd on debut at Newcastle. Frost At Dawn has found a pretty tough race tonight but hopefully, she can improve from that debut and go very close.
