28/06/23 – 2nd 11/2 – Theweddingcanwait – Fergal O’Brien – Worcester

Thewedingcanwait had a couple of runs under his owner's care in an English point then a point-to-point maiden. The favourite won on debut in Tramore and Shark Hanlon doesn't waste his time with his runners over here.

28/06/23 – 1st 11/2 – Inishfallen – Brian Meehan – Kempton Park

As with Mad Punter at Salisbury earlier, we are expecting Inishfallen to progress from his initial run at Newbury. He ran his race the other way round, getting away in the front rank before weakening in the last furlong. Good chance with the experience behind him.

26/06/23 – 1st 6/1 – The Grey Falco – Ben Pauling – Southwell

The Grey Falco is so frustrating as apart from horrendous mistakes the last twice, he could have won both races. He's absolutely thrown in, but this is a quite competitive race for a five-runner affair. He'll either win or be nowhere and if the jumping holds up it should be the former.

26/06/23 – 1st 15/8 – Line Of Descent – Warren Greatrex – Southwell

Line Of Descent has really come good over fences this spring with two wins and then a far from disgraced 2nd at Uttoxeter. He's understandably up in the weights after the wins, but there's still a little more to come and we're hoping today will be another.

26/06/23 – 1st 3/1 – Getaway Jewel – Micky Hammond – Southwell

Getaway Jewel went very well for the champ last time at Newcastle, his 2nd there a big improvement on previous runs. This is his time of year and we might have found a suitable race to get him going again.

25/06/23 – 1st 16/5 – Blow Your Horn – Ian Williams – Pontefract

Blow Your Horn has a favourite's chance after wins over 1m6f at Doncaster and 2m at Beverley. This is a considerably more demanding test at 2m2f around here but he has a favourite's chance and his running style should enable him to come with a late winning run.

25/06/23 – 1st 11/1 – Rosario – Roger Teal – Ffos Las

Rosario is a nice little horse we own by Harry Angel. He's the only unraced one in this and it's frustrating that he was due to go for a barrier trial and it was cancelled. There are a couple here with decent form and he'll need to run very well to make the frame, but…

21/06/23 – 2nd 10/1 – Three Macks – Charlie Longsdon – Worcester

Three Macks has done okay in novices and probably met a smart one last time. Her mark is not excessive and hopefully, she has an each-way chance.

21/06/23 – 2nd 25/1 – Quoteline Direct – Micky Hammond – Newcastle

Quoteline Direct doesn't win very often these days, but his six career victories have been complemented by 27 runs in either 2nd or 3rd and 3-2 is the latest sequence. Off 50, he's more than capable of another run in the money, but it would be nice to get a 7th W by his name.

21/06/23 – 1st 1-/1 – Rogue Millennium – Tom Clover – Ascot

Rogue Millennium has been in terrific shape this year and she took her form to a different level when 2nd in the Group 2 Middleton at York. The form from that race has been boosted since and her sectionals suggested it was worth dropping her back to this stiff mile. It's extremely open, but we're…

20/06/23 – 4th 8/1 – Law Of The Sea – Ian Williams – Ascot

Law Of The Sea was unlucky not to be nearer than 4th in the Chester Cup and ran another good race when 2nd at Haydock. A repetition of the Chester form would put him in with a great chance as he looks sure to get the extra distance..

17/06/23 – 1st 7/4 – Quickthorn – Hughie Morrison – York

I'm not sure Quickthorn is quite the horse he was but he might have been closer bar getting crowded late on in the Yorkshire Cup. Hoping for a revival, which is always possible with a classy performer.

16/06/23 – 2nd 14/1 – State Legend – Ian Williams – York

State Legend has been struggling on the flat since joining us but is becoming fairly handicapped. I'm hoping to see a more competitive performance from him today.

16/06/23 – 1st 9/2 – Jersey Lady – Oliver Sherwood – Fontwell Park

Jersey Lady runs in a handicap hurdle over 3m 2f. She has won her last two races over 2f shorter, but she is from a stout staying family so I think the extra distance will only help her. Vic Malzard has ridden her on both of those occasions and she claims a valuable 5lb off…

13/06/23 – 1st 11/1 – Team Endeavour – Ian Williams – Wetherby

Team Endeavour has been finding it hard going despite a dropping handicap mark. We are looking for some improvement in this ordinary contest.

13/06/23 – 3rd 33/1 – Vinaka – Ali Stronge – Salisbury

Vinaka has his stable and handicap debut here after being off for a while. He did run one nice race at Newbury and it will be interesting to see whether he's well-handicapped or not.

13/06/23 – 2nd 12/1 – Barney’s Angel – Ian Williams – Southwell

Barney's Angel has run two solid races this year after his winter break. First time back at Southwell was promising and over an extra furlong today, he can go very close.

12/06/23 – 1st 9/2 – Blue Sans – Fergal O’Brien – Southwell

We are stepping Blue Sans up in trip. We are hoping that the longer trip will suit and that she can travel more kindly at the likely slower pace of the race.

12/06/23 – 3rd 300/1 – Queensland Boy – Ian Williams – Windsor

Queensland Boy has a nice pedigree but in two runs to date he hasn't yet lived up to it. Best watched.

12/06/23 – 1st 7/2 – Blue Sans – Fergal O’Brien – Southwell

We are stepping Blue Sans up in trip. We are hoping that the longer trip will suit and that she can travel more kindly at the likely slower pace of the race.
