Mister Watson came to the last fence on chase debut and seasonal return at Bangor with the race at his mercy but slipped on landing and could not regain momentum in time. With the ground again in his favour, he will love the conditions and is our bet of the day.

The best of Saint Bibiana's three bumper runs last season came around here on her second start, form which has worked out nicely. She is fit and well and we are hopeful of a big run.

It's been a while since Glittering Love has raced on as testing a surface as he will encounter today and his mark has come nicely down as a result of some lesser performances. This amateurs' race should be ideal and I think he has a great each-way chance.

Bill Baxter showed the benfit of a wind-op when coming fast and late to beat Mucho Mas at Lingfield. We are hopeful that he will stay the extra couple of furlongs in this testing ground.

Great Raffles made serious headway late last season and almost won on comeback at Newcastle last month. I've waited for this race and with ground and trip fine for him, we have to be very confident he will go close.

Glimpse Of Gala has been running consistently well and should be bang there in another strong mares' handicap hurdle. She gets a 4lb pull with Coquelicot for her 2nd to her at Ascot and if she can start her challenge a little earlier, she would have every chance of turning the form around.

Samuel Spade makes his hurdles debut in a decent juvenile race. He has schooled nicely and as winner of a 10.5f race from a 66 mark for David O'Meara, it will be interesting to see how that translates to jumping.

Billy Boi Blue was favourite for his comeback run at Ascot two months ago but the race wasn't run to suit. He goes nicely at home and this looks a good opportunity to get that first win on the board.

Bangers And Cash is in great order and we think he has every chance of following up his spectacular win at Exeter last time. He is up 9lb for that over an extra half-mile, but the way he finished at Exeter you would have to be hopeful he will stay the extra distance.

Rare Edition has won very impressively at both Worcester and Doncaster and I'm looking forward to him taking on this strong novice hurdle company. He's done everything nicely so far but at some stage you have to go up in class.

Angel Of Antrim makes his handicap debut after three runs but it was almost inevitable that he didn't get a good draw where one is vital at Lingfield. He is capable of running well, but drawn 9 of 11 is a big negative.

Bobhopeornohope has top weight in a good race. He loves the track and must have a good each-way chance.

Estrela Star usually runs well at Chelmsford. As ever he will need luck in running, but he is down to a nice mark. Fingers crossed it could be his day.

Lady Miller has been pretty consistent so far and last time she was keeping on at the end of six furlongs around Kempton, suggesting she should stay the extra durlong here. If she does, she will have an each-way chance in an open nursery.

Myboymax has had a break after a busy summer and hopefuilly this will signal a productive campaign on all-weather this winter. He didn't excel last year when tried on artificial surfaces, but he's on a nice mark now and Aiden gets on well with him. His 5lb claim will be a help too.

Mr Mistoffeles did better at Wolverhampton than on soft ground at Newbury on debut. I think he's better than he has shown so  far and again, will be looking for him to challenge for a place in the straight.

Sundayinmay hasn't had the greatest of luck in her last few runs but now from a good draw and with Hayley, who gets on well with her, back on board she has to go well. She has been running over a little further but a fast-run 10f is ideal. Big each-way shout.
