Bon Retour came good in emphatic style at Cartmel and the handicapper has reacted with a 9lb rise. Based on her earlier Irish form she still could have a few pounds in hand. I think she should win again although it would help if they got some rain before racing.

We like Jean Danjou who makes his belated debut today. He goes nicely and whatever he does here I'm confident he will be a decent horse further down the road.
