This looks a nice race-fit for Bathiva. We was quite impressive at Uttoxeter and we are very hopeful of a follow-up.

Owner-ridden Grandscape is inconsistent but he likes Wolverhampton. In two runs there he has been second and first and the return to a Tapeta surface after going two miles at Doncaster should show him in a better light. Fair each-way chance.

I always thought Sundayinmay would stay a mile and a half and I think she has an each-way chance today. She's drawn wider than I would have preferred but if she gets a clear run, which hasn't really been the case the last twice, then I could easily see her running into a place.

Mrs Dibble ran very well at Kempton last time. She has a good draw and off her light weight has a decent each-way chance.

Switched to hurdles last time here, Last Date finally ended his year-long run of pulled ups and actually ran quite a fair race in fifth. He seems to be in the best shape I've had him for a while and  from this much lower mark I wouldn't be shocked if he ran into a place.
