Overcame some sloppy jumping to start with, but he improved the further he went on and in the end won by 14 lengths. Off a slightly higher mark and going this way round, he has a small E/W chance.

– Lucky’s Dream – Ken Pitterson – Lingfield Park
Two starts back he won over C&D and has won well in a jumpers' bumper since. Ian Williams inmate is 3lb higher and this race should be run to suit. This in-form horse looks the one to be with.

27/02/21 – 1st 3/1 – Guardino – Ben Pauling – Kempton Park
I like Guardino a lot and he goes really well. He scoped dirty after his debut at Carlisle when we were hopeful of a win and we go into today's race with high expectations.

27/02/21 – 1st 5/4 – Lucky’s Dream – Ian Williams – Lingfield Park
Lucky's Dream has been in good form and runs the track well. He is a worthy favourite having won well here over 10f after having to wait for a run. His subsequent success in a jumpers' bumper over two miles also on this track suggests going a mile and a half today should not be…

27/02/21 – 1st 11/10 – Wetlands – Nicky Richards – Newcastle
Wetlands is all about next year but I'd like to think I could win a race or two more with him before he goes into a field for the summer. He has a bit to find on the ratings but I wouldn't be surprised if he won. He's a grand horse and we think the…

26/02/21 – 1st 13/8 – Volkovka – Fergal O’Brien – Exeter
Volkovka is a smart filly as she showed when third in Listed company last time. She has a penalty but with the four-year-old allowance she still receives weight from all her rivals and should be hard to beat.

26/02/21 – 1st 100/30 – One More Fleurie – Ian Williams – Warwick
One More Fleurie ran well in a decent long-distance handicap around here on only his second start over fences. We are dropping him back in trip today and that hopefully will prove to be more suitable. Good chance.

26/02/21 – 1st 9/1 – French Minstrel – William Knight – Lingfield Park
I see there's been support for French Minstrel and I fancied him to run well last time but I think he took the mickey out of his inexperienced apprentice so much so that she forgot to weigh in, not that he finished in the money. We're putting the headgear back on and if he did…

25/02/21 – 2nd 16/1 – Juniper – Harry Whittington – Huntingdon
Juniper has missed the best part of 17 months and has just the one run over hurdles under her belt. She is sure to improve on whatever she achieves on this stable debut.

25/02/21 – 1st 5/2 – No No Juliet – Fergal O’Brien – Huntingdon
No No Juliet hated the awful ground at Wetherby at Christmas time as did Tequiila Blaze, who also pulled up there but then ran a blinder at Newbury. Whether No No Juliet can achieve something similar depends on today's ground which I fear could be tacky as it continues to dry after the course was…

25/02/21 – 1st 5/1 – Guetapan Collonges – Charlie Longsdon – Huntingdon
Guetapan Collonges will find the step up in trip a big help. He's a nice horse and I'm hopeful he could have an each-way chance.

24/02/21 – 1st 18/1 – Byzantium Lad – Charlie Longsdon – Ludlow
Byzantium Lad is one of the legion of point-to-point horses who have had to go into Rules racing while their sport is stopped. We're still learning about him but hopefully he might have a small squeak.

24/02/21 – 1st 5/1 – Ocean Cove – Fergal O’Brien – Doncaster
Ocean Cove needs to get his act together. He's been getting progressively lazier and seems to think he's at a holiday camp. He has had a wind-op and has been working nicely but I'm not sure I can trust him. He has the ability but whether he's a betting proposition is another matter.

23/02/21 – 1st 14/1 – Grange Ranger – Micky Hammond – Wetherby
Grange Ranger disappointed last time but ran well around here previously. He's fine on the ground and while this slightly shorter trip might not be ideal we're looking to get him back on track with a solid run.

23/02/21 – 1st 9/4 – Franigane – Harry Whittington – Wetherby
Franigane made an encouraging hurdles debut when second to a subsequent Listed winner at Ffos Las in November. She has pleased us at home since and we are looking for her to build on that today.

22/02/21 – 1st 13/2 – Minella Tara – Fergal O’Brien – Southwell
Minella Tara won his bumper well at Lingfield but has been disappointing mainly since going over hurdles. He's probably a little inconsistent but has place chances here.

22/02/21 – 1st 9/2 – Foster’sisland – Micky Hammond – Carlisle
Foster'sisland's bumper form was decent but over hurdles so far he's proved much less talented than expected. In some ways his better run in his jumpers' bumper at Newcastle could have been predicted and it may not be wise to draw too many conclusions from it in relation to this return to hurdling.

22/01/21 – 1st 5/1 – Starvoski – Kim Bailey – Southwell
This lovely-looking mare ran well last time at Doncaster and with a repeat of that she would probably be placed. The odds-on favourite is an ex-French filly having her first run in the UK. She won twice and has plenty of experience but a double penalty. If she did not perform then we might surpise.

22/02/21 – 1st 11/2 – Chapel Stile – Nicky Richards – Carlisle
Chapel Stile did well in novice chases last season and we've given him a couple of runs over hurdles this time so he's as fit as a flea. The downside is his big weight but I expect him to run a nice race.
