Scene Not Herd is a nice youngster. He did well to win his point and I'd like to think he could run well in a bumper. He's a big price and hopefully has an each-way chance today.

28/01/20 1st 3/1 – Ilaya – Micky Hammond – Newcastle
Ilaya is competetively handicapped, is a course and distance winner and she remains in good form at home. Today's ground will suit, so we feel she goes there today with every chance.

28/01/20 3rd 7/1 – Uncle Jonty – Nicky Richards – Newcastle
Although he has two wins out of two on his record, Uncle Jonty is totally unexposed. He was left clear at the last when his main rival fell on stable debut at Kelso and the rider wasn't sure he wouldn't have won anyway contrary to general opinion at the time. He has plenty to find…

28/01/20 3rd 9/2 – Glittering Love – Nicky Richards – Newcastle
I thought Glittering Love was probably going to win his comeback race here last month until tipping up when still going well in fourth or fifth turning for home. The idea was to run there, then take in this race and on to the Eider. Hopefully the plan is still in place and he can…

28/01/20 3rd 33/1 – The Pine Martin – Micky Hammond – Newcastle
The Pine Martin has had his problems, but seems to be over them now and ran far better than his finishing position would suggest last time. We seem to have been drawn in the stronger of the two heats and he could finish anywhere between third and seventh. So small each-way is realistic.

26/10/20 2nd 5/2 – Project Mars – Fergal O’Brien – Fontwell Park
Project Mars has his first start for us after 20 months off the track. Previously he was with Nick Gifford and picked up a few places. He seems a very lazy type from what we've seen and with a few solid performers in the field, we'd be happy with a run in the first three.

26/10/20 2nd 7/2 – Wheesht – Oliver Sherwood – Fontwell Park
I've always liked Wheesht and she ran much better last time in a race where the form has worked out well. She's dropping down in trip as she shows plenty of speed. It won't be easy to beat Tizzard's, but she should go well.

26/10/20 1st 4/1 – Roxyfet – Micky Hammond – Sedgefield
Roxyfet is in good form at home and his mark is 8lb lower over hurdles than fences. With Emma’s additional 7lb claim, he will hold strong each-way credentials especially if the expected rain arrives.

25/10/20 3rd 16/1 – Chidswell – Nicky Richards – Doncaster
Chidswell is in great order and his preparation has gone very smoothly. If he gets the run of the race on a track where he's won before, he will have a decent each-way chance for this valuable prize.

25/10/20 2nd 5/1 – Imperial Aura – Kim Bailey – Cheltenham
This horse is probably well handicapped, looks well and should run accordingly. On the negative side we have had a few run badly and I would prefer to go into a race of this quality with more confidence.

25/10/20 1st 11/2 – Simply The Betts – Harry Whittington – Cheltenham
Considering he was stopped in his run a couple of times at Kempton, Simply The Betts did very well to rally for second. This track might suit him and we think he has decent each-way chances in a hot race.

25/10/20 2nd 7/1 – The Cob – Ben Pauling – Uttoxeter
The Cob has been working very well indeed before this comeback and he showed plenty of promise on the track last year too. There's two or three with solid form but no superstars, so we're going there with high hopes.

Lough Har loves his jumping and this is a great trip for him. Again each-way chances and could go even better.

Court Dreaming has done okay in his two chases and seems to have been looking for a galloping track which he gets today. Hopefully he'll run a tidy race.

24/01/20 1st 6/1 – Imperial Elysian – Fergal O’Brien – Huntingdon
Imperial Eylsian is in great form. I think he could go close in this today as he is well handicapped and was unlucky to fall last time.

24/01/20 3rd 6/1 – Duke Of Navan – Nicky Richards – Doncaster
Duke of Navan won the corresponding race two years ago and has been gradually edging down the weights. Also this is getting to be much more his ground so he could go close today.

24/01/20 1st 16/1 – Western Miller – Charlie Longsdon – Doncaster
Western Miller was in good form over longer distances in the summer, but has been below that level lately. I'm thinking that trying him back at two miles on a galloping track might suit him.

24/01/20 3rd 33/1 – Shah An Shah – Charlie Longsdon – Huntingdon
Shah An Shah is a lovely horse who has taken time to come to himself. He made a big improvement when fourth at Doncaster last time and now handicapped can go well over a longer trip which ought to suit him better.

24/01/20 3rd 12/1 – Yauthym – Fergal O’Brien – Doncaster
Yauthym ran really well on debut when a mistake at the last flight definitely cost her second place. She should come on for the experience and while probably not good enough to win this, she could sneak a place

24/01/20 3rd 14/1 – Captain Tommy – Harry Whittington – Huntingdon
Captain Tommy looked a highly-promising hurdler last season but so far this winter has been very disappointing. His mark has slipped so a form revival is not out of the question.
