Three years ago when Uncle Alastair ran second just behind Vinndication in a novice chase around here we thought he could become a top-class chaser. Unfortunately he's only managed one run since but he seems still to have a bit of fire in his belly and it's not too late for him to become a useful staying handicapper. We'll find out plenty today.
