I thought Timeform were unfairly disparaging about Twig, questioning his head carriage when second on his comeback run the other day. Considering his time off and high enough starting point in handicaps on the basis of two hunter chase wins, it was a satisfactory start and if he did hang it was understandable that he should get tired. Another small field today and I'm hopeful he will prove them wrong.
